About Us
The Buildery enables students to discover their engineering passion.
We coach students through the process of selecting and building a hands-on engineering project.
As part of the program, students document their project in an online portfolio for sharing with friends, employers, and college applications.
Troy Lanier is the Founder of the Buildery.
Troy graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He has worked at NASA, in startups that served Fortune 500 companies, and as a high school teacher.
As a teacher of Robotics and Electronics at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin he has twice earned the Teacher of the Year award.
